As many of you by now are aware, I will be leaving to take up a new appointment in October. It will be with mixed feelings that we leave this group of parishes – sadness at saying goodbye to many friends we have made over the past three years, but excitement at the new challenges that lie ahead. We have had an incredible sense of God’s hand guiding us over this process – when we arrived here we were sure it would be for the remainder of my ministry. God had other plans though – recently a sense of there being something else he wanted me to do wouldn’t go away, so after many weeks of discussion and prayer, of seeking advice and guidance, it felt right to ‘push the door’ and see if it would open. There were many parishes we read about and prayed about – but nothing seemed ‘right’.

St Michael & All Angels is a lovely venue for your wedding or baptism.
The Church building is beautiful and can seat about 150 people, has a lovely pipe organ and 3 bells, has toilet facilities, is now well heated!
